This was actually from a few weeks ago, but I don't seem to have found the time to post these until now!
A blustery Sunday afternoon trip out of Kingston harbour and up the St Lawrence River, negotiating the islands...
This is one of several defensive towers around Kingston. Built, I think to keep the Americans out. When Canada was still Britain. And the Americans were revolting.

This is Kingston General Hospital. Notable only because I eat lunch here most days!

Kingston Penitentiary. The tower in the background is the building that my apartment is in.
